With just the right amount of compression, the Pack Animal binder are great binders for beginners.
For best results, measure around the widest part of the chest with the arms down. These binders are designed to fit small, so go up a size if you'd like a looser fit.

great. I do find the stitching a little irritating. I also think there should be a third length option, one in-between the two already available.
I've been binding for about a decade now, and have tried a lot of binders in that time. I found the cut and structure of this one very uncomfortable, and oddly stiff. I think if you're on the slimmer side you'd probably be fine, but I'd not recommend this for anyone larger than an XL.
The first one I ordered tore a bit when I tried to remove it. Customer Service determined that it was likely defective, so they sent me another. The new one works beautifully!
This binder has the nicest fabric of any I've had and is really well made. Unfortunately, I find these run a little looser than the sizing chart. Even the xsmall is a tad big on me and only gives the lightest of binding (33" chest). I'd adore if they'd make an xxsmall.
