These gorgeous Canadian-made Pack Animal Mid-Length Binders are bringing a positively blissful binding experience to its legions of fans and now we have them in-store at GenderGear too! With a stretchy and elastic polyester/spandex for maximum compression and an interior cotton lining for comfort, the Pack Animal Mid-Length Binder is quickly becoming our favourite compression vest.
This comfy mid-length design (NYTC also has a mid length) only compresses the chest but does not compress the abdomen so it won't interfere at all with digestion.
The design of this binder helps wick away sweat, and with three colours to choose from, this is the perfect binder to blend in nicely under clothes for a discreet effect. This Black-owned business has prioritized making gender affirming gear in colours and styles that work for everyone!
With just the right amount of compression, the Pack Animal Mid-Length Binder is a perfect binder for beginners.
For best results, measure around the widest part of the chest with the arms down. These binders are designed to fit small, so go up a size if you'd like a looser fit.

I’m so thankful this product exists and lets my son live a happy life. High school is hard enough without feeling like you are not yourself.
This is our second purchase of the same product (the first was a test). The older one is still in good repair months later with daily wear but now we don’t have to panic about washing it.
Fits great! We used the measuring guide on the site.
The delivery was so fast. We got them in the mail just a few days later.
I’ll definitely be ordering again. Kids grow lol. Cheers!
It takes some getting use to, but a great binder, and a great company.
This locally made binder is everything I needed. I measured according to the size chart and it fit perfectly. The staff was so nice upon pick-up. It is extremely comfortable and felt fine even in hot weather. As a bonus, I went swimming in mine in lieu of finding a swimsuit that didn't make me dysphoric and was able to go swimming comfortably for the first time in over 8 years. I can not recommend this product enough. Thank you Maxx for making these!
I've worn Underworks and GC2B before and liked both, so I'll be using those as the point of comparison.
I'm at the low end of the sizing for medium but the armpits feel snug and the seam at the top of the straps is abrasive. At the same time as it is too tight in areas, it doesn't compress as much as the other binders I've owned, looking more like a binder that's been broken in for a year. It shapes the chest in a rounded way, like pecks I guess, but I like a much flatter fit, and especially when wearing tight shirts I feel a little exposed. The first couple times I pulled it on I heard threads tearing, I've yet to see actual problems from this but it isn't inspiring confidence for the long term durability.
I do like that the fabric has a softer feel than the others and that the shoulder straps are thinner so it peeks through necklines less often, making more shirt styles viable. But overall I've been disappointed, especially since I was excited after all the good reviews and the opportunity to buy Canadian made.
Hey there, we do have a year warranty on our products, so if you feel the binder was defective, please contact us at info@comeasyouare and we can help you out.
I’ve been binding for about 5 years now. And I have tested out most of the popular binders on the market (GC2B and Underworks) and while they’re half decent products I find that they’re either uncomfortable, expensive or not very durable. Pack animal however has managed to pull off comfort, durability, and affordability. They are comfortable like underworks but are durable like underworks. These are my favourite binders of all time and I have been using them for a couple years now. For a while I couldn’t find them, and I am so glad that come as you are sells them now. Also they’re made in Canada which is a major bonus. Anyway these binders freakin rock.
